Welcome to the SECOND ever Wimpy Weekender!
Join me for a weekend of building confidence, laughing and learning.
Arrive on Friday afternoon, settle in and head to a welcome meeting and goal setting challenge, led by Vic and her dreadful sense of humour. Followed by a fun evening of ice-breaker games and the chance to share a few drinks with your new Wimpy friends!
A sociable alarm call and the famous Wimpy Bucks Fizz Stretching session, will lead you into 2 tailored lessons each day taken by my favourite confidence building trainers in small groups. There will be choices of Dressage, Polework, Jumping and Cross Country across both days. Vic will also be joining you for some of these either on a horse or in some sort of outlandish fancy dress!!
Unmounted fellas, you will get wriggling on the floor doing fun pilates sessions and poked and prodded by our fantastic physio and her alignment expertise! – You can also opt for a gentler massage instead of a good prodding!
There will be optional mechanical horse sessions with body alignment for unmounted guests but if you don’t fancy this, Vic will also be doing demos on Pat and Pea for much of the day for you to enjoy.
On hand each day will be a qualified NLP practioner to lead our mindset sessions and do personal 1 to 1s (optional).
There will be stable management modules each day for all, including feeding experts imparting their knowledge – and possibly the only place where not knowing the points of the horse may cost you your sobriety!
Evening entertainment (festival style) curtesy of Daddy Carrot, Pirate Dan and the Wimpets, a team quiz, fun games such as ‘pin the Imodium on the portaloo’ and forfeits for anyone who has joined the tumblers club or squealed too often!
We are very lucky to have some secret surprises from friends that have very kindly offered to support this weekend. Not to spoil these surprises, but you MIGHT get the chance to try out a Voltaire saddle on your horse, get invaluable bitting advice from Neue Schule and much more! …other surprises revealed in due course, but that’s not all!
On Sunday, there will be an (emotional) goodbye with presentation of weekend awards.
Every Weekender will leave with a whopping bag of goodies. A personalised commemorative hoody and memories that will last a life time.
I cannot wait to see you all there and I’m just sorry I can’t take you all on this. If my liver holds up and I don’t kill anyone (joke!) there will be more dates and venues in 2020.
*NB: All of your horses stabling and bedding will be provided for. As will breakfasts, lunches and 2 course dinners plus drinks/tea and coffee throughout. Human accommodation is in tents, caravans or horseboxes.
I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YOU THERE!
Love as always
Vic, Pat and Pea xxx
P.S. There will be a reserve list held and anyone that can’t make the camp but has paid the deposit will have their deposit returned on the filling of their space.
