An equestrian confidence camp like no other. Pack up your pony and pack away your troubles for entire weekend of letting it all GO!

What is it?

The Wimpy Weekender is an all inclusive* confidence building camp that includes rider training, stable management, pilates and rider alignment as well as mounted lessons in flatwork, show jumping and XC all geared to help you grow in confidence. We put on the very best evening entertainment complete with games, fancy dress and more fun than you will have ever had ANYWHERE else! You will leave with a fab goodie bag, commemorative clothing, potential prizes and memories that will last a lifetime.

This is not like any camp you will have ever been to!

The basic format:

Arrival at Field Farm on Friday afternoon, settle in and head to a welcome meeting dinner party. Here you will be treated to a fun evening of ice-breaker games and the chance to share a delicious home cooked banquet and a few drinks with your new Wimpy friends! A sociable alarm call will lead you into a delicious breakfast followed by your tailored lessons taken by my favourite confidence building trainers in small groups. For our mounted campers there will be choices of flatwork, jumping, beach riding and cross country across both days – you really can do as much or as little as you would like. 

Each day you will have the option of pilates sessions in a private or group setting depending on popularity, as well as limited rider alignment spaces up for grabs too. There will be demos and talks with some amazing industry professionals for you to enjoy. On hand each day will be our amazing CONFIDENCE COACH to lead our mindset sessions and there will be our friends Expert Bits, offering bit and bridle fitting and the amazing saddle fitter Liz Pears offering saddle checks/alterations.

On Sunday, there will be an emotional goodbye with presentation of the prestigious Wimpy Weekender Awards.

*All of your horses stabling, hay and bedding will be provided for. As will breakfasts, lunches and dinners plus soft drinks/tea and coffee throughout. Human accommodation is in you own tents, caravans or horseboxes or upgrades into cottages and caravans are available and can be booked direct via Field Farm.

I cannot wait to see you all there and I’m just sorry I can’t take you all on this but never fear, there will be 2024 dates and venues announced very soon. There will be a reserve list held and anyone that can’t make the camp but has paid the deposit will have their deposit returned on the filling of their space.
